I - Local Students:
The candidates applying for admission must have passed the HSSC/FS.c (Pre-Medical) examination from a Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Pakistan with not less than 60% unadjusted marks (660/1100).
II - Foreign Students:
The examination is recognized as equivalent to Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) (Intermediate levels) by the Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC). It shall be the responsibility of the candidates to settle their cases with IBCC and should get equivalence certificate from IBCC only for recognition of their qualification.
a. The score of the candidate in HSSC equivalent examination should not be less than 660/1100 (60%) marks according to the formula laid down by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).
b. A candidate shall not be eligible for admission if he/she has not studied and passed the subjects of Chemistry, Biology and Physics/Mathematics in his/her 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Grade/O & A level or other equivalent examination recognized by the IBCC. He/she must have passed English as a subject at O or A level.
c. As per the regulations of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), the equivalence of IBCC in the above terms shall be accepted in aggregate and the candidate shall be eligible for admission irrespective of study group mentioned on his/her equivalence certificate.
MCAT of UHS is essential requirement for considering applications. This test is conducted by University of Health Sciences Lahore basically for selection of candidates for admission into the public as well as private medical colleges of Punjab. Entry test of Federal Board and other provinces are also accepted OR The applicant has either appeared in the Entrance Test of the Punjab OR passed SAT-II examination with a minimum score of 550 in each subject i.e., Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics OR passed American MCAT with minimum aggregate score of 24. The validity period of SAT II/MCAT scores shall be two years for the purpose of admission.
Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in Matric, F.Sc (or equivalent Exams), UHS (MCAT) and entry test. Candidates short listed on the basis of merit will be called for interview, which will be conducted by a panel of experts.. The purpose of the interview is to evaluate the personality of the individual and motivational level to become a doctor.
Filling the Application Form
Candidates are requested to fill up the Admission Form completely in all respects. The Form should be submitted and sent by courier at the College address. Do not forget to write the College number at the bottom of the address on the envelope.

6) Copy of latest UHS entry test Result
7) Copy of Domicile
The applicant / guardian will be required to sign declaration confirming that the information provided in the application form is correct.
Note: No Admission Form will be accepted after the due date.
Relative weightage of all the components of the admission process, academic achievements in matriculation, intermediate or its equivalents/degree examination, entrance test or its alternatives, interviews and other accomplishments, are added up to arrive at the final merit list. The top applicants on the merit list will be invited, in writing, tojoin the first year MBBS class. No formal waiting list will be announced, but all the remaining applicants stay on the waiting list. Any dropouts from the class will be replaced from the waiting list on merit, until the end of the first fortnight of the first term.
Applicants will be informed of the selection individually by letter mailed at the residence address provided with the application forms. Those candidates selected will have to submit their dues promptly on the prescribed dates.
